Beau Chene is a perfect 5-0 against Eunice since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. Beau Chene will face off against Eunice at 5:25 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Beau Chene was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Merryville on Saturday. Beau Chene blew past Merryville 14-4. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Gators considering their one-run performance the game before.

Meanwhile, Eunice hadn't done well against St. Edmund recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Eunice was the clear victor by a 13-5 margin over St. Edmund.

Eunice is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.8 runs over those games. Beau Chene's victory bumped their record up to 8-4.

Everything went Beau Chene's way against Eunice when the teams last played back in February of 2020, as Beau Chene made off with a 10-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Beau Chene since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
