Basketball Recap: Osceola Takes a Loss

Osceola suffered their closest defeat since February 6th on Friday. They fell just short of Memphis Home Education Association by a score of 51-48. While losing is never fun, the Seminoles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 77th in Arkansas, while Memphis Home Education Association are ranked eighth in Tennessee).

It was another big night for Caleb Thomas, who posted 18 points for Memphis Home Education Association. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Guess, who had ten points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Osceola fell to 2-1. As for Memphis Home Education Association, the win keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Osceola didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 69-42 loss against West Memphis on the 14th. As for Memphis Home Education Association, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 67-61 defeat against DeSoto Central on the 14th.
