Basketball Recap: Commerce Comes Up Short

Commerce was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 48-28 to the Oglethorpe County Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 64-50 back in January.

Commerce's loss dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Oglethorpe County, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-16.

Commerce has already played their next game, a 42-25 defeat against Elbert County on the 7th. As for Oglethorpe County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 42-28 win against Commerce on the 8th.
