Baseball Recap: Hastings Takes a Loss

Hastings and Gretna East squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Hastings had to settle for second. They came up short against the Griffins, falling 12-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Griffins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in April.

This is the second loss in a row for Hastings and nudges their season record down to 13-13. As for Gretna East, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Hastings nor Gretna East have any future games scheduled.
