East Stroudsburg North fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Stroudsburg on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell to the Stroudsburg Mountaineers 70-65. The Timberwolves' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

East Stroudsburg North lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Ozias Washington, who went 6 of 9 en route to 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bernard Bowen, who posted 17 points.

East Stroudsburg North's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Stroudsburg, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
