With a playoff win on the line, Grand Lake rose to the challenge on Thursday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 59-20 win over the Basile Bearcats. This was a revenge game for the Hornets: when they faced off against the Bearcats back in January, they had to take a 52-20 defeat.

Grand Lake's victory bumped their record up to 15-12. As for Basile, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 17-11.

Coming up, Grand Lake will square off against Logansport on Monday. Logansport will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Grand Lake surely won't give up without a fight. Basile does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
