If Pleasant Plains wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Rochester, they should've done a better job of containing Sam Kerley. The Rockets walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Cardinals on Thursday thanks in part to Kerley, who had 17 digs. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.1 digs per game.

While Rochester won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-23.

Rochester is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-8 record this season. As for Pleasant Plains, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 22-12.

Coming up, Rochester will square off against Litchfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pleasant Plains does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
