If Pleasant Plains wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Rochester, they should've done a better job of containing Sam Kerley. The Rockets walked away with a 2-0 win over the Cardinals on Thursday thanks in part to Kerley, who had 17 digs. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.1 digs per game.

Rochester never let Pleasant Plains on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-23.

Rochester is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-8 record this season. As for Pleasant Plains, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 22-12.

As of now, neither Rochester nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
