Volleyball Recap: Christian Brothers Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Christian Brothers won the last time they faced Webster Groves and things went their way on Monday too. The Cadets walked away with a 3-1 win over the Statesmen. That two set margin sets a new team best for the Cadets this season.

Christian Brothers walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-22, 23-25, 25-22.

Christian Brothers found their leader in sophomore Jack Strickler, who had seven digs and three aces. Those three aces set a new season-high mark for Strickler.

Christian Brothers' win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-12-1. As for Webster Groves, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Christian Brothers didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Chaminade on the 15th. Webster Groves has also already played their next game (against Lafayette), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
