Baseball Game Preview: Lone Star Rangers vs. Reedy Lions

The Lone Star Rangers are taking a road trip to take on the Reedy Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Saturday, Lone Star came up short against Hebron and fell 6-2. The Rangers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Reedy challenged The Colony on Friday. Reedy came out on top against The Colony by a score of 7-4.

Reedy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.2 runs over those games. Lone Star's loss dropped their record down to 5-13.

Lone Star took their victory against Reedy when the teams last played back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 12-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lone Star since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
