Softball Recap: Coleman Cougars vs. Crivitz Wolverines

Coleman proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 11) but on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 victory over the Crivitz Wolverines. Despite the win, that was the fewest runs Coleman has scored all year.

Courtney Denruyter spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than six innings in three consecutive pitching appearances.
