Lake Zurich had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.2 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They claimed a resounding 35-0 win over the Mundelein Mustangs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bears also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Lake Zurich can attribute much of their success to Christopher Chang, who picked up 135 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Lake Zurich's record is now 6-1. As for Mundelein, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
