Recap: North Mesquite Stallions vs. North Garland Raiders
The North Mesquite Stallions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They fell to North Garland 64-60. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Despite the loss, North Mesquite still got an impressive performance from Christian Brooks, who scored 18 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Marquel Mouton, who scored 5 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals.
North Mesquite now has a losing record at 4-5. As for North Garland, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.
North Mesquite is on the road again on Saturday and play against Canton at 9:00 a.m. on December 2nd. As for North Garland, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Wylie at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Wylie's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three contests.
