Softball Recap: Westland Takes a Loss

Westland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They came up short against the Big Walnut Golden Eagles, falling 27-2.

Brooklyn Barnett was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Sophie Harris also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Westland's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Big Walnut, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Westland has already played their next matchup, a 13-1 defeat against Worthington Kilbourne on the 17th. As for Big Walnut, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 9-1 loss against Hayes on the 17th.
