J.L. Mann had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.2 goals) and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Easley Green Wave as they made off with a 9-0 win. Give J.L. Mann's defense some credit: that's the team's sixth straight shutout.

Their offense was hitting Easley from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Laney Keith led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

J.L. Mann's victory bumped their record up to 7-1-1. As for Easley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, J.L. Mann and Easley will both be playing Greenwood the next time they take the pitch. The Patriots will host the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Green Wave will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
