The Rawlins Outlaws will head out on the road to square off against the Worland Warriors at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Rawlins is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.2 points per game this season.

Rawlins took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They skirted past Torrington 48-46. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Rawlins' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Damien Vialpando, who posted 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Timothy Philo, who had nine points.

Meanwhile, Worland faced Cody in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. Worland took a 53-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cody. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Broncs recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

With the win, Rawlins broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-14. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points over those games. As for Worland, their loss dropped their record down to 10-10.

Rawlins didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Worland in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, but they still walked away with a 57-53 victory. Will Rawlins repeat their success, or does Worland have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
