Puyallup is a perfect 3-0 against Yelm since September of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Vikings will look to defend their home court against the Tornados at 7:15 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Puyallup and three for Yelm.

On Tuesday, Puyallup didn't have quite enough to beat Graham-Kapowsin and fell 3-2.

Georgia Kafentzis put forth a good effort for the losing side as she had 12 digs.

Meanwhile, Yelm lost 3-0 to Olympia on Tuesday.

Puyallup's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Yelm, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Puyallup took their win against Yelm in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Tornados have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
