The victory (which was Heritage's fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-5. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Wake Forest, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 16-3.

Thursday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Wake Forest has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .564. However, it's not like Heritage struggles in that department as they've averaged .442. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
