Volleyball Recap: Tri-Valley Starts Season with Victory Against Lakewood

Tri-Valley had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against the Lakewood Lancers as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

While Tri-Valley might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Lakewood scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-19, 25-20.

Reagan Lamonica paced Tri-Valley's offense, picking up nine kills. Lamonica got some help from Ingrid Dittmar and her 29 assists. Lamonica also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Liv Reffitt, racking up three apiece.

Tri-Valley has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Maysville on the 19th. As for Lakewood, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Newark Catholic on the 20th.
