Basketball Recap: Miami Comes Up Short

Miami was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 27-26 heartbreaker at the hands of the Follett Panthers. The Warriors were probably out for revenge after losing 40-37 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Miami's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Follett, with the win, they broke their 16-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-15.

Miami will take on Fort Elliott at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Fort Elliott will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Miami surely won't give up without a fight. As for Follett, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Follett Panthers face off against the Kelton Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
