Basketball Recap: Friday's Victory Is Covenant Christian's Fifth in Last Six Outings

Covenant Christian won the last time they faced Northland Christian, and Lucy Hahn did her part to make sure it happened again. The Covenant Christian Cougars came out on top against the Northland Christian Cougars by a score of 36-29 on Friday thanks in part to Hahn, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 15 boards. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last eight games she's played.

When it comes to explaining why Northland Christian lost, don't look at Savannah Hardwick. Despite the final result, she posted 13 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Sami Hearn was another key player, putting up six points and five rebounds.

Covenant Christian is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
