Volleyball Recap: Rich Takes a Loss

Rich suffered their biggest defeat since August 30th on Saturday. They lost 3-0 to the Enterprise Wolves. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Rich took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-19, 26-24.

Laci McKinnon paced Rich's offense, picking up nine kills. McKinnon got some help from Tess Cornia and her 25 assists. Hazelle Scott controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Oaklee Allan had a dynamite game For Enterprise., getting seven digs and two aces. Allan has been hot recently, having also posted 13 or more assists the last three times she's played.

Rich's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Enterprise, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Rich and North Summit will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Enterprise, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Kanab on the 14th.
