Baseball Recap: Hominy Comes Up Short

Hominy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 20-3 to the Meeker Bulldogs.

Hominy's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Meeker, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

Looking ahead, Hominy will face off against Morrison at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Hominy has given up an average of 11.8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Meeker, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-5 victory against Porter on the 15th.
