Tremont took a 13-run defeat the last time they faced off against Biggersville, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over the Lions on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since February 18th.

The win made it two in a row for Tremont and bumps their season record up to 7-9. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Biggersville, they dropped their record down to 7-10 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Tremont will welcome Shannon at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Biggersville, they will head out to take on Baldwyn at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
