Volleyball Recap: Upper Cape Cod RVT Takes a Loss

Upper Cape Cod RVT lost against Old Colony RVT back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Rams took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars.

Despite the loss, Upper Cape Cod RVT still got an impressive performance from Nigella Johnson, who had 22 digs and six aces. Johnson is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season.

Upper Cape Cod RVT dropped their record down to 1-3 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Old Colony RVT, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Upper Cape Cod RVT is set to face off against their familiar foe Cape Cod RVT at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Old Colony RVT will challenge rival Bristol County Agricultural at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
