Basketball Recap: Aspira Business and Finance White Tigers vs. Intrinsic Mustangs
Aspira Business and Finance was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Intrinsic Mustangs and fell 59-11. The White Tigers lost against the Mustangs in their previous head to head back in November of 2019, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 78-60 score last time.
Intrinsic can attribute much of their success to Angel Munoz, who posted 14 points. Munoz is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Israel Paredes, who had ten points.
Aspira Business and Finance's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Intrinsic, the win got them back to even at 6-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Aspira Business and Finance will head out to take on Foreman at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Intrinsic, they will face off against Roosevelt at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
