Football Recap: Davis Comes Up Short

Davis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 29-26 heartbreaker at the hands of the West Valley Rams. The Pirates were not able to make up for their loss to the Rams from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Davis' defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for West Valley, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Davis will face off against Ephrata at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for West Valley, they will challenge Sunnyside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams will be up against the Grizzlies' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36.5 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
