Soccer Recap: Valley Takes a Loss

Valley and Windsor Charter Academy combined for 26 shots on goal on Tuesday, which explains the impressive seven total goals scored. The Vikings lost 6-1 to the Firebirds. Valley were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Adriana Delgado, which was the first she's scored this season.

Valley's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Windsor Charter Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3-3.

Coming up, Valley will head out on the road to square off against Fort Lupton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Valley are facing Fort Lupton at the right time seeing as Fort Lupton are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Windsor Charter Academy, they will be playing at home against Fort Morgan at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
