Football Preview: Lee Ganders vs. Terry Rangers
After each having a week off, the Lee Ganders and the Terry Rangers will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Lee is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Texas City last Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Lee lost 28-3 to Texas City. The matchup marked the Ganders' lowest-scoring match so far this season.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Terry). They enjoyed a cozy 37-21 win over Lamar Consolidated last Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Rangers needed considering they were shutout in their previous contest.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Terry was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 234 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
