Baseball Recap: Glidden-Ralston Takes a Loss

If Glidden-Ralston was riding high fresh off their 10-0 takedown of West Central Valley on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats lost 12-5 to the Madrid Tigers on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost four in a row.

Glidden-Ralston now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Madrid, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Coming up, Glidden-Ralston will head out on the road to take on Newell-Fonda at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The last four games the Mustangs have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Madrid, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against West Central Valley at 5:00 p.m.
