After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Green Hope, Cary was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They secured a 38-34 W over the Middle Creek Mustangs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 45-43 back in January.

Cary's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kyndall Brewington, who posted 13 points and six steals. Brewington has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 14 times she's played. Lola Haley was another key player, putting up six points and eight boards.

When it comes to explaining why Middle Creek lost, don't look at Sarah Grace Furst. Despite the final result, she went 5-for-11 en route to 18 points in addition to six steals and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Alysia Pergerson, who scored six points and nine steals.
