Softball Recap: Lancaster Comes Up Short

Lancaster suffered their biggest defeat since April 10th on Thursday. They came up short against the Berea Bulldogs, falling 13-3. The Bruins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lancaster saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brianna Cataldo, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and one RBI. Samaria Jackson also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Lancaster's loss dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Berea, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-12-1.

As of now, neither Lancaster nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
