Softball Recap: Berkshire Badgers vs. Orange Lions        
        
		
            
 Berkshire scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Orange Lions as the Berkshire Badgers made off with  a  24-5 win. The result was nothing new for Berkshire, who have now won four contests by 11  runs or more  so far this season.
  Whitney Davis and  Julia Young did most of the damage at the plate:  Davis  scored three  runs and  stole four bases while going 4-for-5, while  Young  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 4-for-4. Davis has been hot recently, having posted two or more  stolen bases the last four times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kate Miller, who  scored four  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in three of her five plate appearances.
 The  victory was  the third in a row for Berkshire, bringing their record for this year to 5-6. As for Orange, they now  have a losing record at 4-5.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Berkshire will take on Grand Valley at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Berkshire knows how to get  runs on the board -- the  team has finished with flashy  run totals in its past three games -- so hopefully Grand Valley likes a good challenge. As for Orange, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Geauga at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. West Geauga is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 12.8  runs per game  this season.
