Recap: Spotsylvania Knights vs. King George Foxes
After flying high against the James Monroe Yellow Jackets last Friday, The Spotsylvania Knights came back down to earth. Spotsylvania had to suffer through a rough 48-6 loss at the hands of King George. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Spotsylvania in their matchups with King George: they've now lost five in a row.
Spotsylvania has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for King George, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
Spotsylvania will look to defend their home field on Friday against Culpeper County at 7:00 p.m. As for King George, they will head out on the road to face off against Chancellor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Chancellor will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings (they are ranked 249th, while King George is ranked 12th).
