Tri-Valley lost to Maroa-Forsyth back in May of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Vikings had just enough and edged out the Trojans 8-7.

Ethan Moore was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Cole Klein, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Tri-Valley was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .464. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Tri-Valley's win bumped their record up to 13-7-1. As for Maroa-Forsyth, their loss dropped their record down to 17-7.

Coming up, Tri-Valley will challenge MacArthur at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings are facing the Generals at the right time seeing as the Generals are stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Maroa-Forsyth, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against LeRoy at 4:30 p.m. The Trojans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season.
