Basketball Game Preview: Green City Gophers vs. St. Elizabeth Hornets

Green City is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They walked away with a 71-61 victory over Brunswick.

Meanwhile, St. Elizabeth came tearing into Monday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 54-49 W against the Bearcats.

Green City better keep an eye on Gavin Williams. He was instrumental in St. Elizabeth's win, dropping a double-double with 16 points and 17 boards. Williams has been hot, having also posted two or more blocks the last five times he's played. Carter Reinkemeyer was another key player, putting up 12 points.

St. Elizabeth's win bumped their record up to 20-9. As for Green City, their victory bumped their record up to 24-0.
