Football Recap: Eastside Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Eastside couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They were outmatched by the Bishop Moore Hornets and fell 36-8. The Rams were red-hot offensively heading into the contest (they scored no less than 31 points in the four games prior), but the Hornets' defense proved too tough.

Amar'E Johnson produced another solid performance rushing for 234 yards and two TDs while picking up 7.3 yards per carry for Bishop Moore. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenyon Alston, who picked up 73 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

With the defeat, Eastside broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-3. As for Bishop Moore, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-1.

Eastside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bishop Moore, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Eau Gallie at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
