Basketball Recap: Sundance Comes Up Short

Sundance suffered their biggest defeat since January 11, 2024 on Saturday. They had to suffer through a 70-32 loss at the hands of the Tongue River Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 41-27 two weeks ago.

Despite the loss, Sundance had strong showings from Jaylin Mills, who posted 18 points and five rebounds, and Hailey Karol, who had four points and five boards. The game was Mills' fourth in a row with at least 18 points. Avery Marchant also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Sundance's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Tongue River, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 20-0.

As of now, neither Sundance nor Tongue River have any future games scheduled.
