Basketball Recap: Delavan Piles Up the Points Against Rushville-Industry

Delavan extended their postseason success on Wednesday against Rushville-Industry. They claimed a resounding 58-27 victory over the Rushville-Industry Rockets. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Delavan found their leader in freshman Hudson Briggs, who went 6-for-8 from beyond the arc on his way to 24 points and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Briggs has scored all season. Grady Burrell was another key player, putting up nine points.

Delavan's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-19. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.6 points over those games. As for Rushville-Industry, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-16.

As of now, neither Delavan nor Rushville-Industry have any future games scheduled.
