Volleyball Recap: York Finds Home Court Redemption Against Everett Alvarez

There's no place like home for York, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against the Everett Alvarez Eagles by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Falcons: when they faced off against the Eagles back in March, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

While York might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Everett Alvarez scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-18, 15-25, 25-19.

York's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Everett Alvarez, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-10.
