Floresville had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.3 goals) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They blew past the Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) 5-1. Considering the Tigers/Jaguars have won ten matchups by more than three goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Floresville pushed their record up to 10-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three games. As for Uvalde, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Coincidentally, Floresville and Uvalde will both be playing Pleasanton the next time they take the pitch. Floresville will host Pleasanton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Uvalde will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on February 25th.
