Soccer Recap: George Ranch Comes Up Short

George Ranch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Strake Jesuit Fighting Crusaders, falling 5-2. The Longhorns were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

George Ranch's loss dropped their record down to 4-8-1. As for Strake Jesuit, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-1-1.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Alief Elsik the next time they take the pitch. Strake Jesuit will head out to face Alief Elsik at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while George Ranch will host them at 1:00 p.m. on February 1st.
