The Hall Red Devils will take on the Midland Timberwolves at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Midland took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Hall, who comes in off a win.
Having struggled with five losses in a row, Hall turned things around against Fieldcrest on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 14-3 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Red Devils considering their one-run performance the contest before.
Madison Krewer made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April. She was also solid in the batter's box, earning two RBI and one run.

In other batting news, Ava Delphi and Charlie Pellegrini did most of the damage at the plate: Delphi went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base, while Pellegrini went a perfect 4-for-4 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those four stolen bases gave Pellegrini a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jessica Casford, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Hall always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Midland suffered their biggest defeat since April 22nd on Wednesday. They came up short against St. Bede, falling 16-1. The Timberwolves have struggled against the Bruins recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Emma Frank (2026) made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.
Hall's win bumped their record up to 8-21. As for Midland, their loss dropped their record down to 14-13.
