Volleyball Recap: Bentley's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Bentley made up a huge gap compared to their last game against University, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Bentley Phoenix put the hurt on the University Red Devils with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for the Phoenix, who have now won three matches in a row.

While Bentley won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-23, 25-15.

Bentley's record now sits at 3-0. As for University, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Bentley will head out to face off against Redwood Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Redwood Christian will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Bentley surely won't give up without a fight. As for University, they will venture away from home to take on University Prep Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
