Recap: Claremore Christian Warriors vs. Eagle Point Christian Academy Eagles
The Claremore Christian Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 37 points or more this season. They really took it to Eagle Point Christian Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 65-23 victory on the road. With Claremore Christian ahead 40-9 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Claremore Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Addey Abott, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Abott has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Rylee Flynn was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Claremore Christian pushed their record up to 6-4 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.7 points per game. As for Eagle Point Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
Claremore Christian is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Mingo Valley Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 9th. Hopefully Mingo Valley Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 back in December of 2023. Eagle Point Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bradford Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
