Baseball Recap: Michigan City Wolves vs. Morgan Township Cherokees
Michigan City extended their losing streak to four on Saturday, dropping their season record down to 2-10 in the process. They lost 16-9 to the Morgan Township Cherokees. The Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cherokees apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2023.
Justice Randall and Keegan Cowgill did some serious damage despite the final result: Randall went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run, while Cowgill went 2-for-5 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
As for Morgan Township, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-10-1. With that victory, they brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.
