Vista PEAK Prep is a perfect 6-0 against Skyview since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Bison will be playing at home against the Wolverines at 10:00 a.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Vista PEAK Prep took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They put the hurt on Thomas Jefferson with a sharp 11-5 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bison considering their two-run performance the game before.

Meanwhile, while Skyview put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Thornton. The Wolverines were the clear victors by a 16-0 margin over the Trojans. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolverines.

The team relied heavily on Carlos Carrillo, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Ernesto Aguila Sanches, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.

Skyview was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .389. They are 7-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Skyview's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Vista PEAK Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 13-7.

Vista PEAK Prep skirted past Skyview 3-1 in their previous matchup back in March of 2025. Will the Bison repeat their success, or do the Wolverines have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
