Vista PEAK Prep took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They put the hurt on Thomas Jefferson with a sharp 11-5 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bison considering their two-run performance the game before.
Meanwhile, while Skyview put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Thornton. The Wolverines were the clear victors by a 16-0 margin over the Trojans. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolverines.
The team relied heavily on Carlos Carrillo, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Ernesto Aguila Sanches, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.
