Cranford took down Watchung Hills Regional on Saturday, a win that might not have happened without Gabe Arato's standout performance. Arato struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk), which was good enough to set a new career-high in strikeouts.

Coming up, Arato and Cranford will head out to face off against Bayonne at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars are 6-1 against the Bees going back to April of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
