Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mendota). They blew past the Sierra Chieftains 11-2 on Tuesday. It was an even better day for Sofia Hamasaki as she scored three goals for her team.

Mendota's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-7-4. As for Sierra, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Mendota has already played their next match, a 7-0 victory against Tranquillity on the 10th. As for Sierra, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, an 11-0 win against Parlier on the 10th.
