Volleyball Game Preview: Rialto Knights vs. Rim of the World Fighting Scots

Rialto is 1-9 against Rim of the World since November of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Knights will host the Fighting Scots at 5:15 p.m. Rialto will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

While Rialto's win against Jurupa Hills wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Knights won by a set and slipped past the Spartans 3-2.

Rialto wouldn't go down easily and took Jurupa Hills into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-20, 23-25, 23-25, 15-9.

Meanwhile, Rim of the World came up short against San Gorgonio on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

Rim of the World was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made San Gorgonio work for it, especially in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-21, 23-25, 26-24.

Rim of the World's defeat dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Rialto, their victory bumped their record up to 18-6.
